Prior to co-founding his current payments company, Greylock Processing and LexCharge, Jeff has a vast background within the payments industry. In 2001, he co-founded Charge Card Systems Inc., a national credit card processing company based in Boca Raton, FL. In 2012, CCS sold its business to Card Connect, owned by FTV Capital, a private equity firm rolling up merchant processing companies in the space. CCS was the largest acquisition to date and Mr. Shavitz served as a consultant to the business plus is a stockholder in the company. In 2016, Card Connect went public with a $480 million valuation and subsequently was sold to First Data Corp in July 2017 for $750 million.
